Steffan is a warm, engaging, and empathetic presenter and journalist. He has brought his distinctive style to some of the UK's most beloved programmes and helped launch exciting new strands.

 

Currently he hosts the brand-new Doctor Who behind the scenes programme, Doctor Who: Unleashed. A programme that sees his people skills shine, interacting with Hollywood A-Listers and young contributors all in the same space.

Steffan has been trusted to present high-profile and historical BBC programming. From The Proms at the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Four to ground-breaking live fundraiser Game On! For Children in Need for BBC Three. He was also a part of the BBC's radio presentation team for The King Charles Coronation Special Programme

 

Appointed as BBC News’ first ever gaming and culture correspondent - Steffan has reported across the BBC’s flagship television and radio news programmes – from Breakfast and Today to the News at 6 and 10.

 

A regular stand-in for radio programmes like BBC Radio 5Live BreakfastBBC Sounds' Newscast and Naga Munchetty on 5Live - Steffan is a youthful, energetic, and charismatic presenter. He's a contributor to sports panel show Fighting Talk and also presents NFL on 5Live.

 

He was a unique, well-loved and trusted voice to the millions of listeners of BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat during his 8 years as a presenter and senior reporter. He travelled across the world presenting Newsbeat from places like Tokyo, Los Angeles and Seoul.

 

As creator and presenter of the BBC Sounds podcast Press X to Continue Steffan’s interviewed celebrities like Keanu Reeves, Usain Bolt and Bukayo Saka about their love of gaming. A visual version of the podcast is also shown on  BBC Three..

 

A natural and dynamic on-screen presence, Steffan has presented a range of television programmes like The BBC's Proms in the Park, consumer affairs show X-Ray and BBC Wales political debate programme The Hour.

A passionate Welshman, Steffan also presents factual entertainment programmes on S4C such as Iaith ar Daith, Gwylio Ser y Nos, Symud i Gymru and the upcoming Colli Cymru i’r Mor.

From factual entertainment to current affairs, news and politics. From sport to video games, Steffan’s true skill is his ability to make topics relatable to the audience. He is a likeable, enthusiastic and welcoming on-air presence. His passion for storytelling is evident, as is his knack for building a strong rapport with contributors and those watching / listening.

Steffan was named in the Institute of Welsh Affairs list of 30 people who will shape the future of Wales and is one of Wales Online’s ones to watch in 2024.
